One day excursion to Essaouira:
In Berber it is called Mugadur, in Arabic As-Sawira and in French Essaouira. There are different dominations that designate it but this does not change its elegance. It is the capital of the Homonymous province, in the region of Marrakech-Safi: Essaouira, to which we head to the 8h00 of the morning. Its medina is listed as a World Heritage Site by Unesco since 2001.
The city is built by impressive 18th-century French-built walls. It is highlighted by the old houses, the doors of peculiar architecture and its straight streets, wide and well-plotted until they appear to be in some European city.
On the other hand, Essaouira is of special architectural style as it offers a panoramic view of different doors, especially: The Bab Doukkala Gate, Bab Marrakech and Bab Sebaa which is next to the promenade.
The economic activity that practises its population revolves around the fishing, the wood industry, in particular wooden objects related to lemon wood, ebony, nacre or copper or silver threads and crafts, among others. If you like fishing you can try a ddeliciosa tasty meal at the port.
Essaouira is also a city of music and art as it hosts an important annual festival: Gnaua Festival and musicians from the world of Esaouira.
Time passes quickly in this charming city is already late and we have to return to Marrakech. This is the end of this adventure made to the city of music and art.
One day excursion to Ouarzazate and Ait Benhadou:
Through the great Atlas we will drive through an impressive mountainous road, with its mountains that are covered with snow from November to April, with its picturesque valleys, numerous Berber villages and semiprecious stone sellers to reach the port of Tizi N’Tichka, of 2,260 m. tall. From there, we headed south of the country and especially to Ouarzazate. Along the way we will see other panoramic views: those of kasbahs and small houses of mud and straw. Among the things you need to know about Ouarzazate is the. To be a modern military city that has been built by the French. It also includes the former residence of Pacha El Glaui, the Kasbah of Taourirt and Ait Ben Haddou. The latter has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and has gained great fame due to the important films that have been filmed there, such as: Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia.
In fine, we hope you enjoyed your precious time in the places you visited.
One day Excursion to the waterfalls of Ouzoud:
We met at 8 am to start an impressive excursion to the waterfalls of Ouzoud. You are considered the highest in the Moroccan kingdom, with 110 meters of altitude, so they offer us a view of great beauty. In addition, they are the ones that give strength to the waters of the river El-Abid. It’s a place of great charm. That gives you the opportunity to walk around enjoying the silence, because the only sound you hear is the murmur of flowing water.
In the afternoon we returned to Marrakech and hope you enjoyed this visit.
One day Excursion to Ourika Valley
The next tour is very special. It is our turn to lead the lush Ourika valley located about 70 kilometres from Marrakech. We will not only visit this valley, but also the many little small villages that are located next to it to discover their way of life. We continued the trip to Setti Fatma located on the main road of Ait Ourir. There you can enjoy the delicious gastronomy of the area. You can also take a short walk through the waterfalls and taking pictures.
Always the time flies if we had good times and so is the case. It is our turn to return to Marrakech and bring unforgettable memories in our memories and hearts.
