Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech.
You will be welcomed at Marrakech Airport and then you will be taken by the guide team to the Hotel in Marrakech, which is located just meters from Jemma el Fna (medina) square, Marrakech’s main tourist spot.
The guide will be waiting for you in the external area of the Airport with the (marrakechexcursionsdesert)
The journey from the airport to the hotel takes about 25min. Remember that the hotel offers currency exchange for your convenience.
Day 2: Marrakech – Atlas Mountain – Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – La valle de Rosas – Gargantas de Dades.
The next morning at 8 a.m., after the morning cadence (confirm time), we will depart towards the desert passing by the Atlas Mountains, crossing the port of Tizin “Tichka with stops for photos and appreciation of the beautiful landscapes of the Atlas, visit to the cooperative of argan oil producers where we will discover the process of extraction and use of it.
You will meet with a local guide, the fortified village of Ait Benhaddou where we will visit the famous Kasbah (declared heritage of humanity by UNESCO), this spectacular landmark was the stage of renowned films such as: “The Gladiator”, “The Jewel of the Nile”, etc. After lunch (free), we will continue our trip to Ouarzazate, the great gateway to the desert. We will continue until the Valley of the Roses passing by the great palm grove of Skoura and Boumalne. Tonight we will stay at a hotel in the Gargantas de Dades.
Day 3: Valle del Dades – Gargantas de Todra – Erfoud – Rissani.
After breakfast we will depart towards Merzouga, desert passing by the Gorges of Todra,
free lunch and continuation of the journey to the desert. Arrival at the impressive Dunes of Erg Chebb, Merzouga, where we will have a welcome tea and already feel how hospitable the desert people are, at this point we will leave our bags in the hostel and what we will not use in the desert and with the help of local guides, we will leave immediately in a caravan of dromedaries for about one hour, which will take us to the tent camp. We will make a stop halfway to see the sunset. At the camp with traditional dinner and typical music, we will spend the night.
Day 4 : Desert Merzouga – Draa Valley – Anti Atlas – Ouarzazate – Marrakech.
We will wake up before dawn to contemplate the sunrise on the large dunes. And we continue back to Marrakech, crossing the arid and at the same time interesting desert landscapes until we reach the Draa Valley where, on the way we dedicate a time to know better our people and customs with local guide.
We cross the Anti Atlas to reach Ouarzazate, lunch on site. Following the trip we cross the High Atlas and arrive in Marrakech around 18:00h.
Day 5 : Marrakech -airport.
After breakfast we will visit the main sights of Marrakech : visit to Koutoubia and the Palais da Bahia. Visit to the souks, Medina and Jemaa El Fna. So that you can enjoy the journey and walk through the streets of Medina and souks, the visit will be done on foot with a local guide. Check out of the hotel: approximately at 12:00 p.m. (extension of time to be arranged directly with the hotel).
